I’ll just post some photos of the latest project at Yukuzasama, a railing/fence for the street side of the veranda.
I’ve tried to make it using traditional techniques as much as I can. It was very much a learning experience! Everything is jointed together without nails or glue, and I cut tenons and chopped mortises by hand with good old fashioned human power and steel.
